This filter helps create a film-like visual atmosphere and takes the digital edge off of overly sharp images from modern cameras.
Made of water white optical glass, the filters in this kit have strength grades of 1/2, 1/4, and 1/8, with the filter effect becoming approximately twice as strong as a grade number increases. Double-sided nano-coating adds scratch and smudge resistance and prevents reflection. Each filter measures 95mm in diameter, and the kit includes a convenient storage bag and cleaning cloth. The all-glass filter can be used with the optional 95mm circular filter tray for the Mirage Matte Box.
