The BC-U1A battery charger charges one compact BP-U90, BP-U60/U60T, BP-U30 Lithium-ion battery at high speed.

The BC-U1A also has 12 V DC power output cable to power a camcorder directly.

The BC-U1A has a mass of only 340 g (12 oz) and dimensions (W x H x D) of 128 x 45 x 98 mm (5 1/8 x 1 13/16 x 3 7/8 inches).
