The cage maintains open access to the camera's controls and hot shoe and features a 1/4"-20 camera screw, multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style accessory threads, shoe mounts, and strap slots. Side and top NATO rails feature a HawkLock design that secures an optional top handle, side handle, or NATO clamp accessory.
