The head features a 1.9" diameter ball and provides two drop notches for efficient tilt adjustment. It has separate locking knobs for the pan base, for tension adjustment, and for locking the ball in place. The mount type at the base of the head is a 3/8"-16 female thread. The pan base diameter is 2.4". The head's load capacity is 48.5 lb.
