The Lumix S lens lineup is being expanded by the S-R28200E, a wide and long zoom range of 28-200mm - all in the palm of your hand. The ultra-compact zoom lens with optical image stabilizer and 0.5x macro magnification is measuring just φ77.3 x 93.4 cm and 413g. This makes it the smallest and lightest full-frame zoom lens in the world*, and therefore the perfect companion for travelling, trekking and many other activities.
The lens has a fast, precise autofocus, impresses with smooth exposure changes, a beautiful bokeh and is perfect for both photos and videos. Due to the unified design it has the same 67mm filter size and similar dimensions to the F1.8 fixed focal length series and the 100mm macro lens, making it particularly interesting for gimbal users.
When travelling or on excursions with small luggage, this single lens can be used in a variety of situations. From macro, landscapes and portraits to distant telephoto shots of animals, meaning there is no need to change lenses. It is dust and splash-proof and remains fully operational in cold temperatures down to -10° Celsius.
